Opening Doors was created by Billy Plante and David F Poole, commissioned by CBRE in project collaboration with Birmingham School of Art.

Using the doorway as a motif, the video pulls viewers through a series of open doors, allowing them to explore the unusual spaces beyond. The work playfully responds to CBRE’s property portfolio and Birmingham's most iconic buildings. Installed in CBRE’s city centre office, the piece became a site-specific artwork reflecting its dynamic urban surroundings, and reminding viewers of the open, accessible, welcoming and surprising nature of the city.
