David F Poole is an artist filmmaker. His short films have been funded and broadcast by the BBC, screened at the BFI and premiered at BAFTA. His art work has exhibited at Selfridges, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and been commissioned by firms such as world’s leading commercial property consultants CBRE. He has been artist in residence as a studio holder at Grand Union. and his science fiction short Drone exhibited at the New Art West Midlands 2018 from February to May 2018.
Most recently David has participated in several talent labs with BFI NETWORK, after previous labs with Directors UK and the London Screenwriters’ Festival. He has received mentoring from director Lewis Arnold (Humans, Broadchurch, Cleaning Up) and is currently developing a number of art film, music video and genre short projects, as well as several feature scripts.
